I have heard from many artists who were turned off by oil pastels because they were using a cheaper brand, but then later discovered they actually loved oil pastels when using a better quality. Just that it should be strongly considered. * I’m not saying it is a must, or the only important thing, to get a high quality set of oil pastels.
